Obituary
Robert I. Sulzer, age 93, beloved husband of the late Marjorie Sulzer, nee Silverman and the late Shirley Teter Sulzer, nee Leventhal; loving father of Paula (David) Sugar and James Sulzer; cherished grandpa of Adam, Jason (Caitlin), Jared (Jenny) and Andrew (Tracy) Sugar and Steven, Michael and Megan Carson Sulzer; adored great grandpa of Zachary, Hailey, Amelia and Madden; treasured companion of the late Ruth Rosenberg; dear father-in-law of Paula Carson. Robert proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. He was a caring, compassionate and loyal friend to all and was a great family man. Chapel service Monday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to JUF, www.juf.org. I had recently connected with Bob on our shared family history. He was very kind and generous to share his family stories and history. He seemed like a great man and I wish I had a chance to know him better. My sincere condolences to his family.
